What you will do:

Responsible for performing Field Examinations for the Company. Key tasks include the scheduling and execution of pre-loan surveys and day-to-day field examinations. Responsible for completing the most complex tasks and analyses. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely fashion according to established guidelines. Handles the most complex issues until full resolution. Conducts field examinations of complex clients and prospects in order to determine their feasibility for financing, as well as determining the adequacy of collateral, compliance to loan agreements, validity of reports and accuracy of records. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to compose well written reports, interact with internal & customer management at various levels, oversee external vendor relationships, adhere to budgets and deadlines and maintain a positive relationship with clients. He/she will run their own activities as a profit center.

Required Skills

  • 10+ yrs of external field examination experience obtained in well-diversified environments and asset classes.

  • Possess a strong accounting background.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

  • Valid US driver's license, ability to travel up to 50% nationally.

  • Solid communication skills both oral and written.

  • Must have proven analytical background and be able to work independently.

  • MBA/CPA a plus.

  • Additional accounting classes in Cost, Tax, Auditing, and Theory.

  • Prior Rediscount/Healthcare/Lender Finance field exam experience a plus.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast moving, demanding and dynamic environment.

  • Creative and strategic thinker with a strong intellect.

  • Impeccable integrity, trustworthiness, and reputation within the financial community.

  • Strong leadership, management, teambuilding and interpersonal skills.

  • Articulate, decisive communicator who communicates effectively with a wide spectrum of internal and external executives, professionals, investors and bankers.
